Course Overview
This training course is designed to introduce health and social care professionals to trauma-informed approaches. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of trauma, its effects on individuals, and how to apply trauma-informed principles to create supportive and effective care environments. The course emphasises fostering resilience, promoting healing, and ensuring both client safety and practitioner well-being.

Understand behavioural and emotional indicators of trauma to be able to provide appropriate support. - Promote a Trauma-Informed Environment
Create and maintain a supportive and safe environment for both clients and staff. - Enhance Communication Skills within a Trauma Framework
Develop effective communication techniques that respect and acknowledge trauma experiences. - Implement Self-Care and Support Mechanisms
