At the heart of everything we do at Reflect, is our unique focus on developing trauma-aware workers and fostering psychologically informed insights and environments. We specialise in cultivating a workforce that is not only highly skilled but also deeply attuned to the complexities of human experience.

Our training and consultancy adopts a highly interpersonal approach, designed to nurture and empower individuals at all levels — from senior leadership teams to frontline and back-office staff. By focusing on personal reflection, well-being, and skill development, we unlock the untapped potential of every individual, no matter their role.

What sets us apart is our commitment to providing a safe, curious, and psychologically informed learning environment. Through this, we enable individuals to grow in knowledge, understanding, and confidence, becoming more compassionate and capable of supporting others.

Our approach goes beyond professional development; it inspires meaningful personal insights into oneself, the world, and those around us. This transformative process not only enhances workplace relationships but also drives positive, lasting change.

Empower your team to thrive — with us, every interaction becomes a step toward a more aware and supportive future.

We also create courses tailored specifically to your organisation or service covering all aspects of the health and social care sector.

What We Do

As experts in embedding a trauma-informed and PIE approach into organisations, Reflect understands the importance of working systemically by educating the workforce at all levels, through education in TIC and PIE-based training, whilst supporting individuals to use techniques learnt, to create psychologically informed environments and interactions.

Our training provides senior leaders with skills to create a positive culture and environment within their organisation, which helps them develop their professional relationships with partners, key stakeholders & staff. This then feeds out through the rest of the organisation. Our front line training is designed from a psychologically informed perspective, helping people to better understand themselves and others.

Reflect has adopted the model designed by the Scottish National Framework for TIC & current government guidance, Working Practice for TIC (WPD-TIC Gov Nov 22). We previously worked to the SAMHSA model for TIC. All our training is underpinned by this model, and will support organisations to adopt the following 5 principles of TIC asa golden thread running through Learning and Development:
• Psychological safety
• Trustworthiness & transparency
• Collaboration
• Empowerment & choice
• Cultural consideration

How we do it

We are national experts in TIC and PIE and preferred providers for many
organisations. This means we work with all client groups and adapt our training and consultancy to be client-group specific based on the service/staff group we are training.

We understand the needs of different client groups and have significant experience in working with and training in safeguarding adults, young people and children, mental health and dual diagnosis, personality difficulty, complex needs, criminal justice and domestic abuse. Trauma plays out differently for everyone and understanding how this may look for different clients based on their current and past experiences is an important part of training delivery.

Different client groups require more nuanced content specific to their needs and the needs of the staff working with them.
